Tuna and Tiaras Ladies Tuna Tournament
Some of the best and most thrilling offshore fishing on the planet is accessible from Ocean City, Maryland. Sharks, wahoo, mahi-mahi, yellowfin, bluefin, bigeye, blue marlin, and the perennially popular white marlin are just a few of the pelagic fish species that may be caught from a variety of charter boats berthed at some of the most gorgeous and accommodating marina facilities on the East Coast. It’s because of this that Ocean City Maryland is host to Tuna and Tiaras, the world's only ladies tuna tournament.

Not only is Tuna and Tiaras the first women's tuna tournament in the world, but it is also the first and only one of its kind in Ocean City, Maryland. We are introducing unique, never-before-done concepts to ladies' fishing tournaments! Providing new opportunities to win prizes will keep the ladies interested in this fun pastime and returning for years to come!
The 3rd annual Ocean City, Maryland Tuna and Tiaras Ladies Tuna Tournament is scheduled for June 16 - 17, 2023. Every year, the organization continues to maintain its focus on female anglers. For the past two years, the main focus of the Tuna and Tiaras Ladies Tuna Tournament has been supporting women. Their support is exemplified by donating a portion of all registration fees to their women’s organization “Women Supporting Women”.
WSW is a grassroots organization that was established in 1993 to offer support, information, and awareness to anyone touched by breast cancer. WSW is not associated with any national groups that deal with breast cancer. All money donated stays in Delmarva to offer FREE assistance and services where required. Tuna and Tiaras Tournament Activities

There will also be a photo contest. Only the number of "likes" on the Tuna and Tiaras Facebook page will be considered when selecting the winners. The logo for Tuna and Tiaras must be visible in photos! Additional details can be found in the tournament rules. The categories for the photo contest are listed below.
- Best group photo with fish (may be taken at the dock on a registered boat or while fishing)
- Best fish kiss (*at your own risk, lip contact is not necessary to enter this category. we will accept duck lips near fish)
- Best fighting a fish photo (single angler or group)
- Theme photo on a registered boat or at scale. (costume, decorations, etc.)
- Cheers at sea! Use your cups or your drinks! Or something random!
When entering photos into the contest, remember to be creative and have fun!
